At shortstop, however, the options are much more limited. There are tons of good left fielders who I could take instead of Carlos Gonzalez. It was essentially between him and his teammate, Carlos Gonzalez, and I ultimately chose Tulo for a couple reasons. I had the #6 pick in the draft, and I went with Troy Tulowitzki. ![]() Here were a few of my selections: Bryce Harper, Manny Machado, Masahiro Tanaka, Mat Latos, Starling Marte, Byron Buxton, and Jose Abreu. Players like Henry Owens and Jon Gray are sleepers that not a lot of teams might get. Look for players with A potential, even when searching for players to fill out your minor league rosters. This means that if you have the #1 overall pick, go with Clayton Kershaw or Mike Trout instead of Miguel Cabrera. You want to pick players that will only get better with time, who will be the cornerstones of your franchise for years to come. This is the most important aspect of the whole draft, which may seem a bit obvious. Here are the steps to nailing the fantasy draft in MLB the Show: 1. I should note that I used the OSFM roster, because the prospects are absolutely vital to this whole draft.
